| Deadline | A taxpayer must first hold a conference with the Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) on or before the conclusion of the real property tax roll open inspection period — the thirteen (13) days beginning on the first Monday in May (KRS 133.045). An appeal to the county board of assessment appeals is then filed with the county clerk no later than one (1) workday following the conclusion of that inspection period (KRS 133.120(2)). The local board of assessment appeals convenes no earlier than twenty-five (25) and not later than thirty-five (35) calendar days following the conclusion of the inspection period. |
